I build things from scratch to satisfy my curiosity about the space where design and systems meet.
I like making things that didn't exist before. Just as often, though, I'll rebuild something that already exists, just to understand how the people before me made the things that inspired me to start in the first place.
Louisiana is steeped with culture, so growing up here gave me an early sense that making things — really making them, with care — is worth doing for its own sake. My father was a veteran and musician; my sister, an artist; and my mom, a single caretaker with a work ethic like no other. They are my foremost inspirations.

Functional-first embeddable language with a register-based VM smaller than Lua.
Custom networking protocol, transport layer, and GUI runtime in pure Lua.
Open-source shader mod for Terraria with multi-pass rendering.
Full-featured game engine layer with ECS, physics, lighting, and AI.
In my roles, I've architected and built the platforms businesses actually run on — from payment gateways and AI-augmented document pipelines to DevOps and internal tools. A lot of my work has focused on workflow tooling, requiring careful handling of sensitive data and business logic as well as a deep understanding of clients and users alike.
